n Titanium Hot Forming – Carlson Formetec is an advanced metal forming and manufacturing business located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, Tacoma Washington. We operate a 25,000 square foot facility specializing in the hot forming of titanium and titanium alloys.
n Tooling – In addition to our hot forming capabilities, Carlson Formetec operates a full tooling division within the same facility noted above. We build all of our own hot form dies, as well as specializing in the development, manufacture and/or repair of forming, blanking, machining or assembly tools, jigs and fixtures for customers.
n Fabrication and Machining – Complimenting our hot forming and tooling divisions is a complete fabrication facility consisting of punch presses, hot dimple presses and a complete CNC Machine shop with 5 Vertical Machining Centers, 4th axis capability and complete CAD/CAM programming capability.
n Titanium Clean Line (Acid Etch) – In order to fully support our customers and better control our delivery schedules, we maintain a titanium clean (Nitric/Hydrofluoric etch) line approved by NADCAP to AS7108, Chemical Processing.
